03AboutWho’s behind all this

Just a tech enthusiast and his small mate.

John and Arlo leaning on a laneway wall under three Dash Dash Dash posters, both with their arms crossed, looking very cool
(Arlo’s the cool one.)

Hey. I’m John. The small one is Arlo (head of quality control).

We love technology. Games, apps, all of it. What we got sick of was everything that came with it: ads popping up halfway through a colouring-in, games that are secretly slot machines, and subscriptions for things that used to just be things.

So we started making our own. All the good bits without the bad bits. You pay once, it’s yours, and it doesn’t try to keep you there. If you put it down and go outside, honestly, that’s the dream.

We reckon they’re pretty great. Hopefully you do too.

Got one?

Love an app that’s a bit yucky?

Intrusive ads, sneaky tracking, dopamine traps, outrageous subscription fees, in-app purchases on every button. If there’s an app you love that does that stuff, let us know. Maybe we can make a nice one and add it to the Dash gang.

What’s yucky about it?

04Right, that’s enough screen

Go build a fort. Or go and do something else.
